In Ikaho Onsen, you can enjoy two types of hot springs: the golden water, which is brownish in color due to the oxidation of iron, and the colorless and transparent silver water, which is abundant in spring water. The golden water is soft to the touch and boosts blood circulation, making it popular with women as a fertility bath. The silver water is supposed to be good for recovery from illness and fatigue.
